You're probably wondering if I've died yet...

FROM THIS INSANE HOT WEATHER!

I live in Canada and it's hot out. It's almost unbearable to go outside, like I don't know how the rest of you are holding up because I'm dead. Perhaps it's just me, I sweat like a pig. The hot weather releases a little person inside of me that tries to melt itself out. And then, there was a tornado warning! Good thing it didn't end up to be a tornado. Just a storm, a bit of a storm. I've seen worse. 

On a completely different note,

I watched this movie last night called "Le Scaphandre Et le Papillon". It was absolutely beautiful. For those of you who haven't seen it, I strongly recommend it. It's a tribute to the editor of Elle France who became paralysed head to toe except for the movement in his left eye. Sounds depressing, but it's surprisingly motivational and uplifting. I don't want to tell you what happens because it's amazing and beautiful and I want you to watch it. 

Lol, and those are pigeons by my feet. Brave little buggers.

The Magical Whatever

   

A beautiful, wonderful, magical whatever. 

Do you want to know something about magical things? 

There's always something mysteriously wrong with it. A cactus, a beautiful green abundance of pink flowers. It's prickly. It's sad and lonely. It's sharp..like bleed to death sharp...yet it simply grows like it's nobody else's business. 

I took some photos from the Valentino couture show, Michael Cera's new movie, tumblr, and meadham kirchoff men's collection and whatever.

Salutations

Salutations...

It's always hard to start these things. You know? I had an idea and then I just have no idea where to begin. What is there to say when you are beginning something? Especially hard to begin something if you don't know the ending. There's no clear storyline, and I can't promise you that it will be good either. Sometimes I'm just in the mood to begin something and not know where it's going to go. I would begin with something clever or something, but hopefully I can come up with that later. I have nothing clever to say now, today is just a beginning day. 

I suppose I should tell you a little about me. 

My name is Ariel and I live in Toronto. I go to an all-girls school where they make us wear kilts forest green knee socks. 

I'm going to be in high school next year. As intimidating as that sounds, I'm not the least bit afraid. I've been going to the same school my whole life and I will continue to until the day I graduate. Fortunately, that means I won't have to worry about making new friends because the majority of us stay together all the way through.

Now I suppose I should tell you a bit about my blog in the process...

It's going to be a fashion/culture/whatever blog. I can't promise you that it will be good or anything. You're just going to have to wait and see for that. I'll try to write as much as I can about movies. I am obsessed with movies. If you don't like movies than I would suggest not reading this blog as I will make TONS of references to that. I'm hoping just as much as you that this will be the best blog in the world (I like to imagine that you have faith within this first few paragraphs I wrote.)

I can't promise you that it won't be a typical blog, and I can't promise you that it will be a typical blog. 

All I can promise you that is that I'm here right now and I will write about things that interest me.
